Nahom

And it came to pass that Ishmael died, and was buried in the place which was called Nahom.
Discusses the identification of Nahom and the discovery of the burial site of an Ishmael at this location that appears to be from the right time, and who would not be expected to have been a native of Nahom.

Notes

Nahom is an old world location mentioned in the Book of Mormon, which appears to have been in southwestern Arabia. It may correspond to either the Hebrew root n-h-m, meaning "to groan" or "to mourn", or n-ḥ-m, associated with the concepts, "comfort", "consolation", "repentance", "regret", and "mourning". In Arabic, the root, n-ḥ-m, means "to sigh or moan". Either root is quite appropriate for the circumstances in which this location is mentioned.
