Here arises an interesting pattern in the way the Lord deals with his people. Keeping in mind 1 Nephi 3:7, the Lord sometimes gives commandments to his people which they apear to be unable to obey. However, in such cases, it is never because the thing commanded could not be done, but because the people, or many of them, wickedly chose to disobey.
