Surprisingly, this psychologist seems to have hit on something fundamental and deeply true. In connection with his practice of Yoga, he has come to the conclusion that a lack of discipline is rooted in a lack in belief that we will accomplish anything with the hard work we could be doing. The connection between discipline and Faith seems obvious now that I have heard it stated so clearly.
