Antionah

But there was one Antionah, who was a chief ruler among them, came forth and said unto him: What is this that thou hast said, that man should rise from the dead and be changed from this mortal to an immortal state, that the soul can never die?

Notes

Shortly after introducing the character Zeezrom and before introducing Antionah, we are given an overview of the Nephite monetary system. One of the units is the "ezrom", and another is the "antion". It seems likely that we are being clued in to wordplay that is being used in the sharing of the story of Alma and Amulek's debate with Zeezrom and Antionah. Of course, it is also true that "amnor" is both a Nephite name and a monetary unit. "Shiblon" is both as well. It seems plausible that "ezrom" and "antion" could be names too, but this does not negate the significance of the wordplay.
